Hi Everyone!
I wanted to give an update on the Let’sPlaySF!: Merced Heights Playground Improvement Project. After the last community meeting, we took a vote on the Treehouse versus Two Towers option via the Google Survey, emails and a clubhouse visit surveying the children. The votes are in and the Two Towers option won!
We also received many requests for including a swing for older kids in addition to the tot swing set. By slightly modifying the layout and size of the tower, we were able to add a saucer swing in the play area! You can see the modified layout in the below link:
We have submitted the project to the Planning Department, and are now waiting to receive our CEQA designation. If you would like more information, or would like to write a letter of support, please contact Reem.Assaf@sfgov.org
